2.Why do you need to call me on the phone?
2.If you paid via Google Checkout, or Direct Credit Card payment, we need to call you on the phone and verify your order. This is just a brief call we make to verify that the card holder authorized the transaction. After we have confirmed your identity, we will deliver the merchandise.

-Direct Credit Card: Requires a verfication phone call.
-Google Checkout: Requires a verfication phone call.
-Moneybookers: No further verification required, merchandise delivered immediately.

Moneybookers orders require no verification and we can deliver those orders right away. If you are not able to talk to us on the phone or if you want your merchandise immediately, but cannot be contacted by phone, we recommend that you use Moneybookers. You can sign up for Moneybookers and pay with any major credit card or by bank transfer.

3.Why do you want me to register?
3. Our "Quick Buy" link is a short registration that can be completed in about 30 seconds (only 4 items are required on the form). A link is then generated and sent to your email to validate that we have your correct email address. Click 'register now' for a normal registration, or click below for a shorter registration. You may want to do a full registration at some point, simply because you can check out faster that way. The check-out form automatically pre-populates the form with your registration data--saving you time, and making the check out process easier and faster.

We will never give any of your information to a third party, please see our privacy policy for more details. The purpose of the registration process it to simply confirm that you can recieve our emails. You may contact us by phone or live chat, 24/7 if you find you have trouble with our registration process.

4.My credit card was rejected, why?
4.Make sure you input all the correct information when attempting to submit your credit card:
-Your name exactly as it appears on the card
-The correct billing street, city, and zip
-The correct expiration date
-The three/four digit verification code on the back of your card

If you recently moved, or have not used the card lately, you may want to call your local bank. Unless you make online purchases on a regular basis, there's actually a chance your bank put a security hold on your card when you attempted to make a purchase. If you are sure you input your information correctly and the card still doesn't work, you may just want to double check everything is ok with your bank. Confirm they have your correct billing address, and other information.

5.My Diablo 2 item disappeared
5.Non perm prices are already set to reflect the risk of an item. In other words, the price you pay does not cover extra deliveries of the same item. Aside, it's impossible for us to verify whether an item did, or did not dissappear and once the item is delivered to you. We can't guarantee events beyond our control, so we do not replace items!

If an item is labeled Semi Perm, it means we are not sure of the risk level, and you may want to excercise caution. If an item is labeled non perm, it is a high deletion risk item.

If you are unwilling to accept the risk of non perm or semi perm items, we recommend you simply don't order them from us. If you understand the risk, and purchase non perms, please use the temp perm methods we teach you, and exercise caution. We truly want to help our customers prevent losses and we are willing to walk you through the steps as needed to prevent your non perms from dissapearing. We welcome any questions you have on the nature of items--we want you to understand any risks clearly that may be associated with your purchase.

6.Diablo 2 Dupescan and Temp Perm explained
6.Blizzard released the dupe scan in version 1.06 of Diablo 2 LOD. Duplicate items generated in previous versions threatened the delicate game balanced established by developers. In an effort to correct this problem, the dupe scan was created to delete duplicate, illegitimate items from the servers.

Every item in Diablo 2 has an ID tag, that can only be seen serverside. The ID tag is unique for every legitimate item, and notes what character spawned the item, where it dropped, what time it was created, what version of the game spawned the item (06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, etc) and perhaps even more information. This is all stored in a hexidecimal code on Blizzard's server.

Some items are immune to the dupescan:
-Non Magical items with white/ grey text
-Items created before the dupescan was introduced (1.07 and earlier)
-Some Examples: Stone of Jordan, Imp Shanks, Wraith Spur, Raven Spirals
Generally, all other items are vulnerable to the dupescan--when a duplicate ID is present in the same game (and some speculate, even if you are alone in a game, while someone else on the same server IP has the duplicate item in a game as well).

The dupescan checks items in many places, including : the stash, mercenaries, equipped items, and items on the ground. Offending items are flagged and are deleted when a player with a flagged vulnerable item copy leaves the game. Players attempting to leave with 2 or more copies of the same item ID will find all but one copy will be deleted.

We have covered what the dupescan is, when it was introduced, and when it is activated. It's important to know that you can protect yourself from the dupescan. If you follow a few simple steps correctly.

Items are deleted by the server anti-dupe scan when they are flagged--so you can protect your non perm item, by removing that flag each time you leave a game. Quickly open and close a trade screen with another player--just confirm that you can see the trade screen open, and don't bother trying to move items in our out of the screen. Once you see the trade screen is up, you can rest assured the deletion flags have been removed. Effectively, the trade screen adds one to the hex code on your item tags, making them unique temporarily, so that the dupe scan will not see your item as a duplicate. You'll need to leave the game first after you close the trade screen--if someone else leaves the game first, the dupe scan will re-scan the game, applying new deletion flags. To leave at this point without a quick open and close of the trade screen would be high risk. After you close the trade screen, quickly exit the game. As long as you don't have any 2 items with duplicate ID tags, your items will be safe. By following these steps, non perm items can be kept indefinitely. We have tested these methods, and we can confirm they work; we have some non perms that have survived many years via this method.

7.Do you sell Diablo 2 items that can disappear?
7.We mark items in two ways on our site:
Semi Perm: low to medium deletion risk
Non Perm: high deletion risk
High runes, jewels, and other socketables are non perm until socketed. All other unlabeled items, including rune words are perm. Watch out for bright red text--this often (but not always) will display a message "non perm" or "semi perm".

If the item you want to purchase is socketable jewel or rune (which is not specifically marked legit), or if your purchase contains items specifically marked non perm, you'll need to perform a trade screen temp perm each game, or risk a loss. These items are all potentially vulnerable to the dupe scan.

Dupe Scan Vulnerable Items (semi perm / non perm) can be maintained indefinitely by quickly opening and closing a trade screen each time you leave a game. If you don't leave the game first, you'll need to open a new trade screen totemp perm your character (unless you want to risk losing the item). Make sure to never carry two or more of an item with identical server side ID tags. Rest assured, if we deliver 2 or more items on a mule, they will never be duplicates. Check question #4 if you want to more fully understand what the dupe scan is, which items are vulnerable, and how to protect yourself.

Please be sure to ask one of our representatives to show you how a temp perm is done if you have not done it before. We recommend you avoid non perm, and semi perm items if you are unable to accept the risk involved.

8.Can I sell or trade my Diablo 2 items?
8.In most cases we don't generally accept trades, although you are welcome to make an inquiry. There are some exceptions to this rule though. We accept Diablo 2 item trades on annihilus small charms and hellfire torches in large quantities (at least one account at a time)--store credit, or other deals may be available (please inquire). Please do NOT offer to sell or trade items you don't see listed on our site, unless you have large quantities of rare, godly, crafted, or bugged items. If you are switching servers and have made purchases in the past, we may be willing to give some store credit for a trade, please inquire for more details if this is your situation. Once again, don't bother trying to offer us common items we don't sell--we have no use for poor quality, or common items.

9.The Diablo 2 Item I need is unlisted, can I request it?
9.Often, new items are added to the site based on customer requests. Some very rare items may only be available via request. Please be sure to give us a detailed explanation of the item(s) you need, including the realm (and whether or not you are playing ladder). Be sure to let us know if you have already found the item elsewhere and you are expecting a price match. We will then state the terms, cost, and estimated delivery time for your item(s).

10.How fast can GenXGames deliver my order?
10.Our goal is to deliver the item or currency within 1 hour, and if we take over 24 hours to deliver, then we will issue a bonus based on the game.

For currency purchases, generally a few hours up to 24 hours are normal delivery times. For World of Warcraft Gold, EverQuest 2 Platinum, Lineage 2 Adena, Star Wars Galaxies, Final Fantasy XI, or other currency orders, we will give you 5% more currency at no extra charge if the purchase takes longer than 48 hours. Please understand, extremely high quantities may take longer than 24 hours, and we cannot give a bonus on top of this, because often large quantities are already deeply discounted.

On Diablo 2, you should receive your mule account information via email within a few hours of payment. For a Diablo 2 item purchase, we will give 25% more free if the order takes over 24 hours. The bonus is based on the size of the undelivered portion of your order. (If you ordered 20 runes, and 16 were delivered instantly, then 4 were delivered after 25 hours, we would give 1 extra rune for being late on 4 runes).

11.How do I receive my merchandise?
11.An email response is sent to the registered email address of the customer. If you paid via Google Checkout, or Direct Credit Card payment, the merchandise is delivered after the verification phone call. If you paid via Moneybookers, no verification is needed, and your order can immediately be delivered. Please be sure your email address is not full, that you are not blocking our emails, and that you have given us clear contact information including a phone number. We never share your private information with a 3rd party and we only contact you as needed to deliver the merchandise.

Once your order is ready, we will email an account and password (for Diablo 2), a delivery confirmation if the merchandise was sent via in game mail (for World of Warcraft Gold, or other currency sales where in game mail is available), or we will notify you that we have your currency, and we are ready to deliver in game. Simply start a live chat, and we will coordinate an in game delivery if needed.

13.What are the accepted payment methods?
13.Accepted payment methods include:
-Direct Credit Card Payments (all credit card types)
-Moneybookers
-Google Checkout
-Cash, Check, Money Order, Cashiers Check, Wire Transfer.

Discounts are available for Cash, Check, Money Order, Wire Transfer or Moneybookers payments, made with large quantity purchases (100 USD or more). This offsets the cost of using some of these methods and reflects the cost savings for our business due to the low risk involved in accepting these payment methods.

Direct Credit card and Google Checkout payments require a verification phone call to confirm the purchase was authorized by the card holder. We never store sensitive information in our database. NO credit card information is saved in our database after a transaction. Payments are submitted directly to the merchant account and in turn, your bank. All online payment methods through our site are fast, easy, and secured with strong 256 bit encryption.
